Curt and the team are amazing, almost like car repair magicians... I had my car towed there for a radiator repair which was estimated to be completed after the holiday break. Curt called that day, letting me know the car was ready for pick up (5 days early, that's right... 5 days early). This will be my new home for auto repairs, and highly recommended. Family owned and trustworthy shop. They will not charge you for things you do not need, even tell you if they are not needed. Prices are right and the time for turn around is excellent.

Our Toyota Highlander Limited was serviced by Kurt's team. They replaced our alternator and, most recently, our rear struts and mounts. Kurt spent a lot of time reviewing options with us and we were impressed that he went above and beyond to source parts that were of higher quality than what is typically procured from Napa, etc. from so many repair shops. Highly recommend this reputable company. For decades my father used this shop when it was run by Kurt's Dad. The quality and service commitment is still there!!

I took my vehicle over to this shop to get it look at due to my vehicle vibrating excessively. Curt was very friendly and professional as he was determining my concerns for my vehicle. He promptly took the vehicle to get it looked at. Nate, their head mechanic, determine that my vehicle had misfiring cylinders and was able to fix the issue.

Bought a 2017 VW Passat used at a dealership. Was given free oil changes at the same dealership. After 1st change the dealership where I bought my car couldn't figure out how to turn off sensor light and put screw in wrong for my pan. Drove directly from dealership (not vw dealer) to Performance Auto where they immediately knew how to turn off sensor and fixed the mess the dealership caused. They know their stuff and wont take my car anywhere else going forward.

Took my Z4 to these guy based off a friend's recommendation and it was worth the time. No lie its hard to go to a shop for the first time without concern about being taking for a ride. Pun intended lol. Curtis took care of me. I crossed the recommendation with some mechanic buddies and the costs were spot on. I was excepting a decent bill since it was a BMW but to my surprise, it was very reasonable. I also asked if they could have everything done by a specific day and they delivered it a day early. I brought in my 2011 Lexus IS F to get a clucking checked out and PAI was able to pin point the noise in a very reasonable amount of time, and even showed me first hand what was causing it. Nothing but professionalism, kindness and respect from these guys. They are amazing at what they do, I would not hesitate to bring my car here for any kind of work, especially for a performance oriented vehicle such as my F, even though I live clear on the other side of Columbus. Waiting room was very comfortable and homey, plus their personable personality made it that much better. Their shop is also very clean. As someone who works in the industry, I can comfortably say this is an above and beyond shop with very respectable prices.

I scheduled an appointment and took my car in. They looked it over, gave me a quote, I accepted the quote and they serviced my car. My air conditioning was blowing hot, but a recharge from Valvoline didn't fix the problem. They suspected something else was wrong with my ac system and suggested I visit a full service shop for an inspection. I called Performance Automotive based on the other positive reviews I saw online, and I'm so grateful I did. Everyone I spoke with was professional and polite. The technician, Kurt, informed me my car type is prone to a certain malfunction, and ordered a new relay for me right there over the phone, just in case, without even seeing my car. I was able to bring my car in the same afternoon, and what do you know! It was the relay! Took the gentleman 30 minutes to fix it, and for a very reasonable price. I really am so thankful to Kurt and to the team at Performance Automotive. If I ever need something done again, I'll be calling these guys first. I hope you give them a chance, too.

Performance Auto is a shop that specializes in European and Japanese vehicles. They have been in business since 1982. They are highly skilled, honest and go the extra mile to make sure your vehicle is repaired properly. They do everything from oil changes to engine changes and everything in between. Chris, Curt and Nate are great guys if you're in the market for a shop to have your European or Japanese auto worked on I would highly recommend Performance Auto.

Both repairs were slightly major and they offer 12-month/12,000 mile warranties, but I've never needed to have them replaced.

They work mostly on German cars, which, anyone who has one, knows they can be difficult when it comes to repairs, so having people who specialize in this area is very helpful.

These people take great care in the work they do and I'm always very pleased with the results. Any future repairs will be done here and I suggest anyone with repairs to a German car to have these people handle it.

The staff at Performance Automotive went above and beyond what may be considered their job description for me and my husband! My husband came in with a flat tire, not knowing where else to go. I am from the Massillon Canton area and frequently I am sent to Columbus to work at my job. I have a 2008 Mini Cooper and went to leave work on a Friday with the hopes of driving back home to Canton for the weekend when my check engine light came on and my car stalled. I took it to a firestone and they ran a diagnostic check on it and told me there was nothing they could do so I called the BMW dealership and they told me to come in on Monday and it would probably be very expensive. So on a whim I called Performance Automotive and spoke with Curt. He told me that they were going to be closing within the hour but if I could get there he and his technician would do what they could to see about getting my car up and running properly. So I rushed my car straight in and without any weight at all they took my car into the garage and figured out that it was just low on oil. They added oil and ran to diagnostic checks on it and also gave it a test drive. Within 45 minutes my car was running like it always has been and I will be able to return home to see my family now. Curt and his team were fantastic and they have definitely gained a customer for life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

A great experience! My husband and I needed a "pre-purchase" evaluation on a truck we were considering buying. Kurt was so nice to deal with, and he arranged for the evaluation to happen the same day that I called! The report that they e-mailed to us was quite detailed, and they were honest, informative, and helpful. I would recommend this shop to anyone needing help with their vehicle.

I first went to Performance after getting an outrageous quote for work from Mag Mini. The folks at Performance are down to earth and honest with you about the work that needs done and what can wait. This saved me loads of money on breaks that didn't actually need replaced. They do quality work, and I'm usually in and out in less time than they estimated. I took my car into Performance Automotive at 10:30 Thursday morning for an oil change. I had called the prior day to schedule an appointment in case they were slammed -- didn't matter because I was the only one there (two days after Christmas may have had something to do with it). My experience couldn't have gone better -- I was in and out in less than 40 minutes. They were very straightforward about the price upfront and didn't try to up-sell me anything. They said I needed to new tires asap. Topped off all the fluids.

The gentleman I met there was Keith - his dad started the business back in the 70's or 80's and they both continue running the business today. This is a great family-owned, family-run business and I will definitely return. In fact, this will likely be my "go-to" place going forward.
